Building a lunar logistics network
A base is not infrastructure. A schedule is.
For years the lunar programme was a series of events. A landing. A deployment. A crew rotation. Each one planned in isolation, each one a milestone. The shift to infrastructure happened the moment those events became a timetable.
From missions to service
Lynx now flies a fixed sortie schedule between the landing zone, the base and the outlying sites. Crews do not plan a traverse; they book a seat. Cargo does not wait for a mission; it waits for the next departure.
The day nobody sent us a congratulatory message about a lunar flight was the day it started working.
Resource processing supplies most of the base's water and oxygen. The solar field on the ridge runs without intervention. The network knows where every vehicle is. None of it is remarkable any more, and that is the achievement.
